Tip One:
Empty
only one drawer at a time to sort through.
Tip Two:
Do a
drawer daily until all the drawers are sorted and organized.
Tip Three:
Only
put back items that you are currently using (if it's summer and you own long
johns for wear in the winter, they do not need to live in your drawers
year-round. Find another place to store them if you are short on drawer space).
Tip Four:
Store
like items with like items. For instance, after de-cluttering you might be able
to put all your underclothes in one drawer, or your socks, stockings, and other
footwear into one drawer.

Do not put items back that have become discolored, worn, or the
elastic is SHOT! Tip Six:
Store small items in shallow drawers or contain them.

Tip
Seven:
If you don’t
have a lot of drawers and you’re not willing to give up some of your stuff,
thinking you really need it all OR maybe you really do need everything you've
sorted through. One of the things you can do is get little inexpensive hatboxes
that you can store all kinds of items in them. And you can stack them up making
them easy to get to. They come in different sizes and you can get them decorated
or decorate them yourself.

Tip Eight:
Roll instead of Fold. If you roll instead of folding t-shirts, socks, shorts,
panties, slips, or scarves, you'll gain more space in your drawers and make it
easier to view items at a glance.

Tip Nine:
If you fold your socks, instead of balling them up in a ball, you
will gain more space.
Tip Ten:
Try "fanning" them out in your drawer so you can see all the colors at a glance.
